2019 Reserve Pinot Noir
The 2019 Bjornson Vineyard Reserve Pinot Noir is designed to accompany and enhance the culinary experience. It pairs great with food because of it’s balance of structure, tannin, and bright, mouth-watering acidity coming from the Wadesville Pinot Noir clone (comprising almost 50% of the blend), and has a beautiful deep, ruby-red color.
Awarded 94 Points by James Suckling
Production notes
The fruit was gently de-stemmed, cold soaked for four days, then gradually allowed to warm up prior to fermentation. The fruit was pumped over once a day at the onset of fermentation and then punched down once per day until dryness. It was then settled for 2-3 days prior to being racked to a variety of French oak barrels for ageing.
