MGM 1.5 L 2017 Björnson Edward Pinot Noir
The 2015 Vintage was characterized by early budbreak, early bloom, and plenty of sunshine. Fortunately, the weather cooled in September, allowing the fruit "extra hang time" to achieve phenological ripeness.
Our goal with the Edward blend was to find our best representation of classically-styled Oregon Pinot noir. This wine shows robust cherry and raspberry notes, with savory undertones supported by refined tannins.
This barrel selection honors Pattie's grandfather, a Minneapolis fire fighter, who was a reserved yet intense man, with a strong work ethic reflecting his Midwestern heritage.
